NEIGHBORING CLASS

Class 1 recording and resources:

Class 1 Video

Before our next class on 8.12 please try to accomplish the following:

  1. Listen to Love Thy Neighborhood podcast

    1. Read the first two chapters of The Art of Neighboring (You can pick up a book at the church or order it here)

    2. Fill out this PDF. Try to fill in as many names and details about the neighbors around you. If you cannot name many, that’s perfectly fine! That’s why we’re doing this class!

Class 2 Video

  1. Read chapters 3&4

  2. Continue getting to know your neighbors and filling in information on your forms as you learn about them.

  3. Listen to Scott Sauls sermon, You Are the Light of the World. (Below under resources.


Class 3 Video

  1. Read chapters 5&6 of The Art of Neighboring

  2. Meet at least one new neighbor and continue deepening relationships with others.

  3. Listen to Love Thy Neighborhood podcast episode #5 Where the Gospel Meets Community

  4. BONUS: Scott Sauls book, Irresistible Faith: Becoming the Kind of Christian the World Can’t Resist.

  2. Meet a new neighbor and continue deepening relationships with others.

Class 6 Video

  1. Read chapters 11&12

  2. Create some event or dinner or way to bring neighbors that you have met together and bring your idea to the next session.
